§1 Scope of this privacy policy

This privacy policy applies exclusively to the website of Monolith Group, available for you at www.monolith-gruppe.eu In this privacy policy, we provide you with information on the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of your personal data when visiting and using the offers on our website.

§2 Processing of personal data when accessing our website

When accessing our website, so-called access data are collected and stored in a log file.

These access data include:

  • name (URL) of the web page you access and the web page you visited previously
  • date and time of access
  • name and URL of the retrieved file
  • the amount of data transferred and the message about successful retrieval
  • the browser type and version and the operating system of your device
  • the requesting provider and the IP address of your device.

The IP address and other access data are processed for the following purposes:

  • ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website
  • ensuring comfortable use of our website
  • evaluation of system security and system stability
  • statistic production and other administrative purposes

The temporary storage of your IP address and other access data by the system is necessary to enable the delivery of our website to your device. For this reason, it is necessary that your IP address remains stored for the duration of the session. The IP address also serves to secure our systems (e.g. during an attack or security incident). We are not able to draw any personal reference from the access data including the IP address when accessing our website.

Your IP address is stored as part of the log files for a period of 30 days on the server of our host provider: Medialine Euro Trade Ag, Office Rhein-Main, Zehntenhofstrasse 5b, 65201 Wiesbaden, Germany and then erased. No data will be transferred to a non-European third country.

The processing of your IP address and other access data when accessing our website is not required by law or contract.

The legal basis for the processing of your IP address and the access data is Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR, as the processing of the described data is necessary for the services we offer, and this is the only way to make the services offered available on our website and to ensure the functionality of our website.

§3 Contact form and registration

Treten Sie bzgl. Fragen jeglicher Art per E-Mail oder Kontaktformular mit uns in Kontakt, erteilen Sie uns zum Zwecke der Kontaktaufnahme Ihre freiwillige Einwilligung. Hierfür ist die Angabe einer validen E-Mail-Adresse erforderlich. Diese dient der Zuordnung der Anfrage und der anschließenden Beantwortung derselben. Die Angabe weiterer Daten ist optional. Die von Ihnen gemachten Angaben werden zum Zwecke der Bearbeitung der Anfrage sowie für mögliche Anschlussfragen gespeichert. Es erfolgt keine Weitergabe dieser personenbezogenen Daten an Dritte.

Um die Sicherheit Ihrer Daten bei der Übertragung zu schützen, verwenden wir dem aktuellen Stand der Technik entsprechende SSL-Verschlüsselungsverfahren.

§4 Processing of personal data when using Cookies

§5 Processing of personal data when using Google Analytics 

On our website, we use the Google Analytics analytics tool of Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google) to tailor the design and optimisation of our website offers.

As part of the contract on data processing we have with Google, Google uses the information we collect to compile an evaluation of the use and activity on our website.

For this purpose, so-called tracking cookies are stored on your device. The information about your website usage generated by these cookies is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The transferred information will then be used on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website, and to provide us with further services for the purposes of market research and customisation of this website.

Google also uses this information to compile reports on our online activities and to provide us with services related to the use of this online offering and internet usage. We also use Google Analytics to display advertisements placed within Google and its affiliate advertising services only to users who showed an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (such as interest in certain products and services based on the websites visited by the user) which we transmit to Google (so-called Google Audiences). With the help of the Google Audiences application that we incorporated into our website, we want to ensure that our ads are in line with the potential interest of users of our website and are not annoying.

On our website, an anonymisation code was added to Google Analytics to ensure that IP addresses are recorded only anonymously and to exclude a direct personal reference (so-called IP masking).

Your IP address will therefore be shortened (IP-Masking) and transferred to and saved in the US only in anonymised form when you submit your IP address within the European Union member states or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and truncated there.

The data collected from you will therefore not be used to identify you personally and will not be collated with personally identifiable information about you.

You have the following options for stopping the analysis carried out by Google Analytics:

The web analysis will remain disabled until the browser plug-in is disabled or erased. The browser plug-in must be set separately for each browser and device. The data processed by Google Analytics will be automatically deleted after 26 months.

The provision of personal data to Google is not required by law or by contract. But without the described processing of the data, an analysis and evaluation of the use of our website and optimisation of the services offered by us is not possible. Our legitimate interest in the processing of personal data according to Art. 6 para. 1, f GDPR lies in the purposes of data processing.

§6 Processing of personal data when using Google Maps

On our website, we use Google Maps online map service, an online mapping service of Google Inc., located at 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter: Google) for displaying and using an interactive map.

By integrating the online mapping service from Google Maps, it is possible to use our website to plan your journey to our company and to find the location of our company using the online map.

When you visit our website, Google Maps cookies are placed in the browser of your device and your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google's servers. The content of the map is transferred by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the website. By changing your browser settings, you can disable or restrict the storage of cookies. The cookies that are already saved can be erased at any time. This can also be done automatically. Our legitimate interest in the processing of the personal data according to Art. 6 para. 1, f GDPR lies in the purpose of the data processing, i.e. the provision of the interactive Google Maps online map service to the findability of our enterprise.

§7 Processing of personal data when using YouTube videos

On our website, we present you videos that are provided by YouTube on the Internet. YouTube LLC is a subsidiary of the Google Corporation, headquartered at 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, and is a member of the EU-US Privacy Shield. YouTube is represented by Google Inc., located at 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

You can recognise the YouTube videos by the red YouTube play button with a white arrow in the image preview for the video.

YouTube uses cookies that are stored on your device. With the help of cookies, information about the visitors and users of our website can be collected and, if necessary, evaluated. YouTube can use this information, among other things, to capture video statistics, prevent fraud, and improve usability. Youtube can also connect to the Google DoubleClick network.

We have included the YouTube videos presented on our site in the so-called “extended privacy mode” on our website. Therefore, no personal information is stored by YouTube unless you play a video on our website. Only when you play a YouTube video by clicking the play button on our website does YouTube collect, transfer and analyse your personal information in ways that we cannot influence. By changing the settings of your browser, you can disable or restrict the transfer and use of cookies.

The cookies that are already saved can be erased at any time. This can also be done automatically. If YouTube cookies are disabled for our website, you may not be able to play YouTube videos on our website.

A direct connection to the YouTube platform and a transfer of your IP address and cookies ID to a Youtube server in the United States will not occur until you activate the YouTube play button to play a YouTube video.

Activating the YouTube play button connects you directly to the YouTube platform, and YouTube automatically places cookies on your device that help YouTube collect your information and understand your user behaviour.

If you are a user of YouTube when you play our YouTube videos, YouTube also associates all information they acquire with your personal user account.

YouTube does not give us reliable information about the type of cookies they use, the length of time the cookies are stored on your device or the type and extent of data collected and evaluated using the YouTube cookies. It is assumed that YouTube uses the YouTube cookies to determine and evaluate your IP address and all other data, your entire user behaviour on our website.

The provision of personally identifiable information to YouTube is not required by law or contract, but without the processing described above, it will not be possible to watch the YouTube videos we have on our website.

§8 Processing of personal data on linked websites

If our website links to other websites, we have neither influence nor control over the linked contents nor on the cookies used by the linked websites and the processing of personal data of other Internet offers. We therefore recommend that you consult the data protection regulations of the linked websites regarding the type, scope and purpose of the collection and processing of your personal data.

§9 Rights of data subjects

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us, in accordance with art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can provide information on the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned retention period, the right to rectification, deletion, limitation of processing or opposition, the existence of a right to appeal, the source of their data, if not collected from us;
  • to demand the completion or the rectification of incorrect personal data stored by us immediately, in accordance with art. 16 GDPR;

  • to demand the erasure of your personal data stored by us, in accordance with art. 17 GDPR, except where the processing is required for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;

  • to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, as far as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you reject their deletion and we no longer need the data, but you need this to assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have objected to processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;

  • to obtain your personal data provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another person responsible, in accordance with art. 20 GDPR;

  • to withdraw your once granted consent against us at any time, in accordance with art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. As a result, we are not allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent for the future and

  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority in your usual place of residence, of work, at the location of our headquarters or the location of the alleged violation.

§10 Right to object

If your personal data are processed with legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right, according to Art. 21 GDPR, to file an objection to the processing of your personal data, should there be reasons for this arising from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct mail. If you object to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have a general right of objection, which we will implement without stating any further reasons.

Please note that this privacy policy can be changed at any time in compliance with the data protection regulations. In each case, the version available at the time of your visit to our website applies.
